Support Contracts
Ziena offers KNITRO customers an Annual License Maintenance
Support (ALMS) contract to provide them support for their KNITRO licenses
and to keep them up-to-date with the latest optimization
technology.
New purchases of KNITRO automatically include ALMS free for the
first 90 days. After that, make sure you take out ALMS for the
following benefits:
Free updating of your KNITRO software through major and minor releases. It is Ziena's policy to continuously improve and enhance its products (see our release history). ALMS holders automatically receive all significant enhancements and bug fixes.
Free support in your usage of KNITRO. Ziena will endeavor to give advise regarding the features of KNITRO that may result in enhanced performance. This has led to significant performance improvements and many saved hours for some customers. Consulting on problem formulation and other aspects of modeling is available at an additional charge.
Priority for enhancement requests for new features and improvements. New features requested by ALMS customers are given the highest priority.
ALMS support can be puchased annually for 15% of the original puchase price. Support cannot be puchased for selected copies of KNITRO, but must be for all copies at a location. For this pricing, coverage must be continuous from 90 days after receipt of license.
